As of the 10th of January 2023, Windows 7, 8, and 8.1, and Windows Server 2008 R2 will no longer receive patches from Microsoft. Millions of devices will now become “legacy” and create a suite of new cyber risks. In October 2023, Windows Server 2012 will no longer receive updates as well.
